That's why no matter where it was serviced after it came home I would jack the car up and set my torque wrench to the correct pressure and check them one by one. If they shop ever needed to take them...

Get the Hemi. I had the 2005 4.7L...when it crapped out I looked into an engine swap...the time and money would have ended up being more than the car itself if worth.

My next GC will be a Hemi...

Hey...what are you going to do? My inner tie rod was about to blow and I sold the Jeep instead of fixing it. Wasn't worth the cost.

Ahhhh...okay. That makes sense. Well I guess now it comes down to can I get a deal on an 08 in about 8 months....wonder what I can nab one for.

Thanks Jay for helping out...so just to get this straight.

You have budget boost spacers in the rear. The leveling spacers up front...you don't also have the normal budget spacers up front as well...

Alrighty so these are spacers from the Budget Boost.

And sorry...one more question...do you have any spacers from the budget boost in the front? I was also thinking of adding the leveling spacer...

Really? I didn't know that.

I thought I had read on wkjeeps that fly by wire wasn't introduced until the 08 model year.

Call me Joe. I actually just sold the WK today. I got 5,000 for it. I didn't get a chance to take any pics of the engine.

I do drive in dusty conditions...most of the off road...

Well it can be done. The engine mounts are the same, the tranny is the same...but after a lot of thought I've decided against it. Just not worth the headache of trying to get a shop to do it all.

Thanks all...

What might have cause the crank shaft rod bearing to brake. I change the oil when it's supposed to be changed...maintain it pretty darn well.

Any speculation?
