Re: Milton's build thread

Yeah - it does a great job bringing any faded black trim back to life.

Re: Milton's build thread

Tires are holding up very well. No rubbing on that washout - I'm sure I've had some rubbing here and there while wheeling but I've really only noticed on the front driver p/w slight rub in reverse...

Sounds very familiar. :D

Thanks and I hear ya. Even once I ordered mine it seemed like eternity before it arrived. Then I still had to put it in. My advice is to study up and learn...

Re: Milton's build thread

For my latest mod I ordered some stuff the other day off Amazon. I love that site! Lots of goodies to choose from, usually cheaper than anywhere else and free 2 day shipping with a prime...

Re: Milton's build thread

The weather got back into the 60's again (crazy) so I figured it was a good day for getting under the WK. I wanted to install the new suspension skid I picked up as well as test fit the t-case skid....

Re: Milton's build thread

The next thing I did was pick up the first in my collection of armor.

Re: Milton's build thread

For the nest project I had the week off (gotta love 24-48s w/ a Kelly Day) so I decided to do some projecting. Nothing major - exterior aesthetics. I still had the Red Rock Crystal grill that came...

Re: Milton's build thread

I like to think of my build thread as a photo journal of sorts. I can show what I've done to the WK and show what it enables me to do with it. Plus, again, it's MY build thread so I figure even if...

Re: Milton's build thread

A couple of the latest mods I did. Nothing major. Cheap, easy, and fun.
For Christmas I took an extra multicolor strand of lights and put 'em on the roof rack. I used zip-ties at each corner and the...

Re: Newby Needs Help!!

If you don't want to lose mpg's don't lift it. If you do decide to lift it you can always sell your current tires on Craigslist if they have decent tread and put that $ toward bigger tires. As far...

Old Man Emu 2" Heavy Duty lift. Front&rear coils; struts and shocks.
With a bigger tire you get about 3" total lift and it is a true suspension package. The lift comes from longer coils. Compared...

Re: Storing recovery gear...

I forgot to mention, with the rim strap attatchment on your hi-lift you'll want to carry a jack stand in order to throw on a spare tire if need be.
