Re: upper control arms advice

Best to buy a complete upper control arm, i.e., Moog problem solver. Their arm is made of higher quality metal than OEM, and you will end up paying less overall vs replacing balljoints and bushings,...

Re: Hemi Shudder

The other thing to check is the front diff mounts, which often fail on WK's, mine went bad at about 40k and were replaced by dealer under extended warranty

Re: Making it better

Sounds like you have Quadratrack. The uplevel Quadradrive II with limited slip front and rear diff's and center transfer case would get you through that stuff.

Re: Dampener / Coil question

Well the SRT springs do drop the height, I just don't know how much and what the limit for FSD's are. FSD's raise the ride height about 3/4 in over stock with stock springs, which i really like, a...

Re: Might buy sway bars/links. Technical tips?

I had B woody links and took them off, since the ride was too harsh, so much that you feel every bump, and they are horrible for even light offroading. They are honestly a poor design, since there...

Re: If your 8spd trans is rough, put your hand up

Right on the money. the Germans designed and build the ZF in Friedrichschafen, (I'll be there in 2 weeks, great place and great beer !) and FCA licensed the technology but they just cannot meet the...

Re: Ripp Supercharged 3.6L- 0-60 times

I drive 33 Miles each way to work every day ...most of which is highway...so that gives me AMPLE opportunity to smash the peddle and fly up to 100-125mph most every day ..

Only insecure idiots...

Re: Odd Leak

If it is leaking moonroof, you can reset so it will seal. Mine was leaking and did this a year ago, where you just go through a sequence of pushing and holding the moonroof button a few times to...

Re: cold air intake

For 5.7, total waste of money, as it drives worse overall.... been there and went back to stock. Better low end torque and tip in throttle response with stock, and MUCH quieter, without all that...

Re: I hate how my Jeep shifts

Stock shifting sucks for sure, I hated mine too. Hemifever changed all that with my Diablosport Intune, and now has far better shifting, smooth when easy on the go pedal, and grabs real firm when...

Re: Air intake upgrade needed?

Your LT tires are not stock size, the diameter is larger, changing the final drive ratio, the same effect as taller gearing. This results in slower accelleration, the effect you are experiencing.

Re: Bilstein on back order **SIGH**

MY 2 cents on WK Bilsteins. Don't be fooled by the name; of course Bilstein makes excellent shocks, but the WK versions are frankly not a good choice. They are far too rough riding due to the...

Re: Sunroof does not fully close

Mine did the same, and I followed the reset procedure posted somewhere on this site and it worked great, takes about 5 minutes total. Do a search and you'll find it; it just involves cycling the...

Koni FSD's installed

Ordered the FSD's from Koni US, and was surprised that they had a set in stock, so got them delivered in 2 days and just installed them along with new OEM springs, mounts and isolators. These...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The 3.0 crd VM motor has been in production at the Detroit plant for quite a while already, but have just been sold overseas. The ZF 8 speed will now be added to the turbodiesel for 2013.

I'm...

Re: Ok to use EGR from Autozone/O'Reilly/NAPA?

I'm using an EGR from Advanced also, and works great. Using PCV and MAP sensor from Rockauto, both about $23, versus the rip off dealer prices at 3x those.
When replacing the EGR, remove the...
