Re: Windshield wipers recommendation for '11 WK2

I replaced mine with low cost Michelin wipers from Costco and had no issues with them.

Back Up camera

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the backup camera on a 2014 GC Ltd is low definition? I had a 2011 GC before I Traded it for this one and I found that the image when backing was of much...

Re: 2014 Limited Air Conditioning Auto Setting airflow issue...

Mine has had no issues since the software fix. If anything it blows too cold so I had to raise the temperature selector up a degree.

Re: Low tire pressure warning

I had this issue also. I am Canadian so my tire pressure is measured in Kpa. I got a warning that my right front was low. Can't remember at what pressure it tripped but the light did not go off when...

Re: 2014 Limited Air Conditioning Auto Setting airflow issue...

Hope it works out for you. I am also keeping my eye on the auto on heated seats and steering wheel function with vehicle start. We have had a few frosty mornings here and I had to activate manually....

Re: 2014 Limited Air Conditioning Auto Setting airflow issue...

I don't know if this relates to this thread or not but I had my 2014 GC in for service yesterday as I felt that the climate control in auto mode was ineffective. Manual mode was OK but in auto mode...

Re: Running boards

I use the tubular running boards because my wife is quite short (4ft. 11ins) and she needs them as an aid to step into the GC. I'm tall and don't have that problem but they are handy when I wash or...

Re: Rustproofing

Interesting. I would be more concerned with the rocker panels, quarter panels over the wheel wells and the lift-gate corroding. I don't think an aerosol product from Crappy Tire would go the trick,...

Appreciate everyone's opinion. Had my last Jeep sprayed four times and I feel that I threw money away as it was in near showroom condition when I traded.

Re: Am I lucky, or what?

Strange, the only claims that I ever made on the 2011 had to do with an oil pressure sensor and the power door lock actuators. Two were replaced over the 4 years that I had it.

You have to adjust the volume to the desired level while the voice speaks, using the radio volume knob. Fingertip controls probably do the trick also. Haven't tried it yet.

Nice! How long did it take you to figure out how to raise the volume on the VR system for the radio and NAV?

I finally broke down and read the manual.

Re: New 2014 GC Limited.

To be honest, I leased the first 5. I got used to a new Jeep every three years or so.

Guess what my Weathertech mats from the 2011 don't fit the 2014. It has less legroom in the rear.

New 2014 GC Limited.

I couldn't wait for the 2015 GC's to go on sale and picked up this 2014 Limited today with a huge discount. This is my 7th since 1997.

Just have to post a photo.
