Re: Adaptive cruse control cuts out intermitintly

Suggest walking thru all those TSB's and only taking the ones that you care about to the dealer. e.g. any you find related to ACC.

SOME dealers, once they have to hook up, will update everything...

It also adds an average of 10K miles to the lifetime of your tires.
Improves stopping distance, adds 20 mph top speed.

Re: AC condensation in back seat floor

Is this from water coming out of the main AC unit on the passenger side?

Re: Fair trade in for 2001?

A dealer typically wants to make much more money on your trade if they keep it to resell. You might find private lots willing to offer more, and if you can stand the hassle, cherry it up a bit and...

Re: A/C working intermittently

Rather than a simple charge can and guage, you might want to pick up an A/C manifold guage and hose set if you plan to maintain this yourself.
A set of gloves and eye protector are a good idea......

Re: who win's: SRT or RangeRover Vouge

Its "Vouge", which rhymes with douche.

There IS a hopped up version of the RR en route to market that bumps up the horsepower even more over the SC, but this hain't it.

Quite a few Nokian tires become Norseman models as they are discontinued as Nokians. Norseman is a bit cheaper, and still some of the finest tires available.

Re: STD washer nozzles

Yes, it is possible.
May not fit as well as oem ones, nor spray as well, depending on exact vendor.

You can buy oem ones online pretty cheap, maybe not as cheap as generics.

A "T-pin"...

Re: $50k+ is a lot of money for a new vehicle...

I don't speak for Jeep, but dirty little secret on software updates is that the engineers tend to actually inject one new bug for every 'N' fixes, where N is lower than you'd want to think.

Re: April, 2014 Consumer Reports - Annual Auto Issue

I think Autoweek said it best... the problems with CR's quality ratings is that they make no distinction between the motor falling out and the touchscreen picks up fingerprints too easily.
