Re: Passenger door failure

I just had this happen to an 11.

It was a door lock actuator. Think it was 160 all-in to replace.

Re: Auto Headlight Issues 2014

I find this to be the case even in my '11.
The auto high beams are equally sensitive.

Re: Ambient lighting?

Looking at Jeep's site, I'm not sure it's clear. Did they take the ambient lighting away from the Limited all together? or it's just added to the rear on the Overland?

Re: $500.00 Bonus Cash Allowance

Same here. I have an '11 and they sent me the $500 card.

I got a satisfaction survey about a week before this. It did ask how soon I planned to buy my next vehicle. I'm assuming this is why I was...

Wish I would have seen this thread sooner.

Just started poking around on a 14.
Honestly, nothing wrong with my, and keep telling myself I don't need a new one one, but.....

Re: 4 tires in cargo area?

I did it with just the small side folded down. I think you'll be fine if you put one in the spare compartment, though.

Re: Should I upgrade the OEM Michelin Latitudes?

I swapped out my Latitudes for Destination AT's at 8k.
Sold the Michelin's on Craigslist for 400 after a decent number of hits.

Re: Has anyone managed to lock their key in?

I did the exact same thing. Cost me 50 bucks for a cab ride home and back for the spare as I didn't want to risk someone scratching anything!

Re: Goodyear fortera vs michelin Latitude

x2

They're the 18's as opposed to the 20's, but I was really disappointed by the Latitudes in the snow. Frankly it was a bit hairy a couple times this past winter. I had the Fortera's on my WK and...

Re: Remote Start Question?

Same here. - rear defroster and driver heated seat comes on, but no front defroster. I try and remember to put it in defroster mode before I get out so when I remote start it the windshield is clean.

This annoys me as well, although it seemed to be more related to whether the road was an expressway vs 2 lane. Then again I guess that largely correlates to speed.

Either way, I wish I could just...

My sunglasses rattled constantly around corners and over bumps until I put some thin flet in !
