Re: HVAC Selector/Divider

In case anyone ever runs up against a problem similar to mine as outlined above, take off the lower dash panel on the driver's side, locate the 'arc gears' (rack gears of sorts) for the lower heater...

Well, with Ethan's projected birthday as July 9th, I took Brutus to the groomer to get his nails lopped off then came back and used that attachment that Minnow suggested to get the dog hair outta the...

HVAC Selector/Divider

I searched around a bit and found a couple posts on it, but nothing that was all that definitive. When I select 'DASH' for my HVAC, I'm still getting air on the FLOOR (06 WK LTD HEMI). Per the...

Re: Experience with Front and Rear Differential Fluid Brands

I've always used Redline in all my differentials over the years. The gear oil comes in both limited slip additive and non-limited slip additive varieties. The non will have an 'NS' on the label. ...

Re: Tires "Draging"

My 06 with the QDII and electronic LS front diff exhibited similar symptoms. Diff oil was shot. Did your shop add the LS additive? If not, even brand new gear oil will make the front bind. I used...

Re: Rear Differential Fluid Change

Ah, yes indeed. I should have elaborated a bit more. I placed the socket in to the plug, then used a 14 mm open end wrench on the socket. Worked great.

Re: Rear Differential Fluid Change

FWIW - it's not the brake cleaner itself that causes the problems per se; it's the fact that you're drying out all the lubricated parts when the brake cleaner is wiped off and/or evaporates. When you...

Re: Second Thoughts

No, my post was to the OP, in response to the reluctance to go with the Hemi with 'the way gas prices are'.

Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Second Thoughts

Can't have the best gas mileage and the most power. Gotta pick one (or a suitable give and take).

The road courses I track the 350Z on don't allow SUV's, no matter what mods are done to them.

Re: WK Front and Rear Differential Fluid Change

Firstly, you'll have to add the limited slip additive (MOPAR, Redline, etc) if you're going to use it. Secondly, Mobil suggests a shelf life of 5 years on unopened oil, but keep in mind, they have a...

Re: Dealer says one thing...

In my experience, when a dealer says it's 'on its way', that means it's being processed, somewhere between me giving them money and me getting my vehicle. Dealers are tools.
