Re: What's this hose, and why is it hanging so low?

What diameter is the hose? If it's a diff breather, it should probably have a little plastic vent on the end of it to keep it from drawing in debris....at least the breathers on my old 2003 Ram did....

Re: Wk2 Rear Knocking Noise Aussie GC Laredo

I had the SLS shocks replaced last summer on mine. It had been nice and quiet until now. What changed, you ask? I washed the jeep for the first time since I had the repair done.

Even...

Re: 2012 3.6 Transmission Weirdness

I asked them to check for an update the last time I dropped mine and they said it was on the latest rev. Mickey53, keep us up to date on what they say. Thanks.

Re: 2012 3.6 Transmission Weirdness

Same exact issue heres and it seems to be getting worse. I've had mine for about two years and only 5200 miles on it. 95% of the driving is 40mph or slower and it just seems like they didn't design...

Re: v6 drive train vibration

Well that's discouraging. How did they try to fix it?

Re: v6 drive train vibration

Mine has this as well. It's not as irritating as the shudder/vibration though. But if this new program fixes both, i might actually enjoy driving this thing.

BTW, I only have about 2500 miles...

Re: v6 drive train vibration

The vibration went away for about a week and now it's back. I'm sick of taking it to the dealership because 90% of the time, I get "could not duplicate" or when I drive them around they can't...

Re: v6 drive train vibration

I filled up with migrade fuel (87 octane) and the problem disappeared. I believe I might have put regular fuel (85) in it the last time I filled it up, so maybe that had something to do with it. I...

Torque converter operation normal?

Question for those of you with the V6. At lower speeds, do you feel the torque converter lock alot? When I turn a corner and give it moderate accelleration, the RPMs will climb, then I feel the TC...

Re: v6 drive train vibration

FWIW, my 2012 has this too. I don't really notice it on accelleration from a stop while going straight. Accellerating from a stop while turn left it is pretty noticable. Any news on this?

Re: What are you towing?

I've towed with many different vehicles from anything from a small utility trailer to the 28ft camper trailers and this is the first time I've experienced a noisy hitch. Gotta be the unibody...

Re: What are you towing?

Last night was my first time towing with a unibody vehicle. Two 600lb ATVs on a 14' single axle trailer, about 2400lbs total. The noise was unbearable and made me think something was going to...

Re: Wk2 Rear Knocking Noise Aussie GC Laredo

I posted earlier that I thought my Jeep might have the noise. My 2012 4x4 w/ V6 has the factory towing package. I hear the noise when driving slowly on roads with wide seams. But only...

Got any other pics, like down the side so we can see how far they stick out. Also, what size tires?

Re: LTX M/S2 275/55R20 with Quadra Lift

These tires have a greasy feeling when new and feel like they lay over in the turns. Once you get a few good heat cycles in to firm up the rubber, they're great. Went from the Forteras on my wife's...

Re: Wk2 Rear Knocking Noise Aussie GC Laredo

I have 725 miles on mine, 2012 V6 4x4 with tow package. While driving around the neighborhood, I heard what I think you all are dealing with.

What's crazy is it's the same sound as I dealt with...

I saw these at this site:

and was wondering if anyone had them yet and found this thread. It's a little better pic for photochopping.

Re: Great looking tires

275 is the width of the tire, in millimeters. The 50 part is an aspect ratio of the width of the tire to height of the tire.

Like 275 / 25.4 (millimeters in an inch) makes the tire 10.82" wide

Re: Stock 18" Tires and Tramlining on Grooved Highways

The stock Goodyear Fortera didn't have a problem on my wife's Outlook (18" version of the same tread design as the 17" wheels on the WK2 come with). Those tires were pretty awful on ice when the...
