Re: HELP! Spark plug problems

So I got that stupid piece of crap out of there. Used a small dose of PB blaster and some small picks and got the chunk to come flying out. What a freaking pain! Put a very liberal dose of antisieze...

Re: HELP! Spark plug problems

Only problem with the vacuum idea is the piece is wedged around the bolt head of the plug. I need like a really small needle nose tool.

Who knew plugs could be such a pain! Its like I have an...

Re: HELP! Spark plug problems

I've used about everything sticky I can think of. And a vacuum won't do it. The weird part is the shape of the last chipped piece is the shape of a C and is wedged with the middle on the end of the...

Re: Amping

Well I currently have a Jenson 900 watt mono that I was using for my 12 Kicker Cvr. Is that too much amp for that sub? Never had any issues with it.

What would be a decent somewhat inexpensive...

Amping

Is there any type/brand of amp to use if I want to run my speakers and sub off the same amp? Or is it best to run two different amps?

Re: Non ipod user

Another quick question I have is when I purchase a new HU, is there a harness I need to make everything easier? Or am I looking at splicing and the like?

Re: Non ipod user

I've seen a couple nice Kenwoods and Alpines with the USB port up front so I think I'll end up going that route. Guess it won't be too bad that way. One less device to charge. Thanks for the help...

Re: Non ipod user

Funny you should mention that. That was what I was thinking as a back up. Any suggestions on good HU's with front USB inputs? I've been searching Crutchfield and reading reviews but nothing has...

Non ipod user

So I'm looking for a new head unit for my jeep and I'm curious if anyone out there uses anything BUT an ipod. I would like to find a head unit that lets me use my Android phone or my Zune. I really...

Re: A/C compressor problems

Any ideas? Can the clutch be replaced on its own? Or does it make more sense to just replace the entire compressor?

Re: A/C compressor problems

So, upon further inspection, it seems like the compressor pully is seezing up. Tension is great, belt is good but the pulley doesn't want to turn freely almost like its sticking. So I think its the...

Re: A/C compressor problems

So I checked and no cracks or oil on or in the belt and I reinstalled it properly. I had to remove the belt to get the filter off because whoever put it on the last time cranked it down with air or...

A/C compressor problems

So, I was changing the oil on my 3.7 the other day and had to remove the serpentine belt to get to the oil filter because it was so tight. I put the belt bcak on now and whenever I run the a/c, the...
