Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee ROOF RACKS

No it's mounted nice and firm. Ensure you tie the bow and stern down as that will keep the boat from pitching and stressing the rack. My boat doesn't move at all on the highway. I give it a good...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee ROOF RACKS

I use...

Hemi with 8speed is very smooth. I have a K&N Cai on mine. Put it on around 10k but that's only because that's when I got it. Sport mode unleashes the beast!

Engine bay is same as 2011.

My...

Re: Best snow driving techniques and modes

Grew up driving old 4x4s with lockers, a Willys Jeep of dads and mostly rear wheel drive cars. My last car was an Acura TL Sh-AWD which was a monster in the snow. Actually plowed roads with its low...

Re: CAI 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude

AFE Momentus GT is true CAI and uses stock air inlet area. Looks like a nice piece. More expensive than all others though.

Re: Handling the JGC on ice

Be vigilant on taking Blizzacks off as soon as the ave day time temps stay above freezing. They are so soft that they will shed their rubber when winter slacks off. In Atlantic Canada the Blizzaks go...

CAI 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude

I find I really hear the sweet Hemi intake gurgle when next to another car or wall allowing the sound to bounce back. Sounds really nice under low load that way. Of course she sings her song at WOT....

Re: CAI 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude

Love my K&N on my Hemi. No power losses, if there is I can't feel it. Sounds great, looks great and it was free!

Next up is the Magnaflow exhaust sitting in my garage waiting for spring.

Re: AFE Momentum GT CAI - anyone tried it?

With you having the V6 did you just use the drop in filter? The Momentus only fits the Hemi. AFE doesn't appear to have a CAI for the V6 on their website.

Re: Quadra-Drive II vs Quadra-Track II

I have QT2 and love it. I grew up on old school manual locking hubs and dedicated lever on the floor to select 4hi or lo. The QT2 working great. You just have to have faith in the electronics to sort...

K&N CAI installed - love the deep note on throttle

Initially worse as you keep goosing the throttle to hear the Hemi roar. But many claim 1-2mpg increase. I'm on my first week so I'm still goosing the Hemi lol

Re: K&N CAI installed - love the deep note on throttle

I actually didn't mind the stock note of the Hemi. I really do however like the sound of the CAI. I think that plus an exhaust would be too redneck for my taste. I hate the sound of a truck going by...

K&N CAI installed - love the deep note on throttle

Installed it yesterday with no issues. Fit is nice and looks great. Nice and quiet when driving normally ( that appeases the wife) and sounds mean on throttle. Finally sounding like a V8 should. I...
