Re: fuel tank skid

It's hard to get the bolts out but the rest of it's easy. It has to come down as a unit and you will be glad it does.
Put a jack under it, remove the bolts that hold the assy to the unibody. Let it...

Re: front end noise

Put the specified lube in the Tcase ONLY! Disregard further advice from whomever gave you that.
Worn joints will cause a host of vibes. Repair or replace. Your problem will likely be solved.

Re: WK 4.7L Driver's Side Exhaust Manifold & Gasket Replacement Writeup W/ Pics

Because the manifold doesn't always warp, often the bolts fail because they put the smallest bolts on the manifold at the rear where they have the most work to do. Must have been a design from the...

Well?
I'd try a torx socket that barely fits in. Heat it first and often until it moves. Torx which are generally only good for stripping out do come in handy with these from time to time. Had to...

Re: 99 grand 4 in lift swaying problem

It is highly likely that the upper A arm ball joint is bad. Lifting it beyond 3" will cause it to wear quickly. Replace the joint and get a spacer for it if it doesn't have one already. OR get an...

Re: WK 4.7L Driver's Side Exhaust Manifold & Gasket Replacement Writeup W/ Pics

Short story, if you hear the noise you...

Re: WK 4.7L Driver's Side Exhaust Manifold & Gasket Replacement Writeup W/ Pics

I have a couple rivet guns, however I thought that the plastic rivets required a special gun. If not I'll get some. OTW I can get a handful of Christmas trees pretty cheap.

Re: WK 4.7L Driver's Side Exhaust Manifold & Gasket Replacement Writeup W/ Pics

Re: WK 4.7L Driver's Side Exhaust Manifold & Gasket Replacement Writeup W/ Pics
