Re: How is this price on a 2011 Laredo?

Is this WK2 a 2WD? Just wondered because the invoice on my 4WD last April was 30601 (w/o destination) and MSRP was 32995 w/dest.
I think your deal is quite decent considering no other rebates except...

Re: Looking to add Hitch to 08 limited

I'm not an expert on this subject but I believe the biggest difference would be the reduction in departure angle since the hitch that hangs below the bumper (without the cutout) mounts about 2-3...

Re: New Jeep With issues

The unlocking of all doors when shifting to park, I believe is a GM feature (or maybe Ford?). No Chrysler car that I know of has that feature. For quite a few years Chryslers always have unlock all...

Re: Jeep Slush Mats

Just a note that the Mopar slush mats for the WK and WK2 are totally different. I have both cars. I actually like the one on the WK better but its a bit lacking in coverage so at the end of winter,...

Re: Best place to Purchase Brakes

I've had good luck with NAPA Ultra Premium line. Slightly more expensive than "OEM" quality but my experience says it's much better than the original brakes that came with the Jeep. The rotor's...

Re: Oil Change Due?

Maybe they are trying to commonize now, the WK and now WK2 have the same procedure. The previous gen Liberty used the button on the overhead to reset the reminder (of course not every vehicle has an...

Re: Where are you installing your Ipass?

"Velcroed" to the BACK SIDE of the rear view mirror on the driver's side. I only use it about 3-4 days at a time whenever I visit my daughter in Chicago, so I am not sure if this set up will endure...

Re: ATTENTION: 2011 owners! PLEASE READ! Questions for the engineers?????

What's the rationale for the the change in layout for the Dashboard/Steering Controls (lights/wiper/tach/speedo/cruise switches)?

Re: recomended maintenance at 12,000miles??

You are correct Svenska:

Schedule B Front and Rear Axle Fluid Change Interval:
For 2006-2007 = 15,000 Miles

But
For 2008-2010 = 18,000 Miles

I believe GEEZ has a 2010, that's why I was...

Re: Adding Homelink to 08 wk

I'm sure it was removed as standard equipment at a certain point. That was during the DaimlerChrysler cost cutting period. My 08 Laredo does not have it, my 2011 WK2 Laredo does not have it either.

Re: recomended maintenance at 12,000miles??

I think if you read the manual properly the "IF" on my statement pertains to the equivalent of the old "Schedule B". However, it still says 18K miles, NOT 12K, NOT 15K.

Also for 2010, the owners...

Re: No EGR valve on REMAN engine

Generally speaking, running with EGR means your engine is more spark tolerant (recirculated exhaust gases cools down the combustion chamber), i.e. you can bump up the spark advance schedule which...

Re: Does anyone else have this happen?

I think the Jeep HEVAC engineers are being too aggressive in using the AC compressor most likely to eliminate/reduce complaints of "musty odor".
