Re: 20" wheel calibration

If you are talking about 265/60/18 to 265/50/20 there is no difference is diameter (3/32"). I would never take advice from a dealership on tires and wheels. It's rare to find one that knows...

Re: Staggered or non staggered?

I've got a staggered setup on my WK2 and love it, albeit mine are 20's. IMO the rear looks so much better with the 295's. As montgb said, there is no problem running this setup as long as the...

Re: Summit - too much chrome?

Way too much chrome...the plastic chrome turns to crap really quick with the winter road grime around here.

Holy sheit $600. I've never been charged more than $60 a wheel and that's 20x10. Find another shop.

Re: Passport Radar Detector mount

When I use the pink/green, my redline shuts off when I shift into R then comes back on when I shift into D. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Duratrac... That good in winter?

The DuraTrac has the mountain/snowflake symbol. Like others have said, Tirerack rates them #1 in their category with an "excellent" rating for ice 8.2 versus 9.1 for the DM-V1.

Re: 285/50/r20 Ventus ST's on stock Summit wheels??...

Are you thinking of the 295's for the front or a staggered setup? My fronts are stock 265's on a 9" wide wheel and they protrude just a little from the black plastic molding. My rears are 295's on...

Re: Cooper ZEON Ltz

They are very similar to the Nitto Terra Grapplers. A buddy of mine replaced the Grapplers, which he liked, on his suburban with the Coopers (275/55/20) and he loves them.
Did you get the gloss or...

Re: Looking for input on off road/winter tires for my 2011 overland.

Off road/ winter tires...the Blizzaks will cover you on half of that request. I'm guessing the compound is way to soft for off road. Check out the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac, you loose a little in...

There are actually two $1000 incentives through USAA right now, on MY 2011. But you have to be a member to access them. No incentives on MY 2012.
