Re: Infamous "key not detected" problem.

I had similiar issues. What I found when I pulled the fob apart was that the prongs holding the battery in place had worn/rubbed the battery. I thought I had dead battery but really just needed to...

Re: 2012 Laredo with Steelcraft Nerf Bars

Thanks, those look good. Lower than I would have expected (by just a little) but that may help the kids hoist themselves in. Clearance isn't a big concern as serious off-roading is not on this...

Re: Need opinions on which setup. Chrome or painted? Pics of both inside!

This may sound backwards, but definietly like the painted mirror covers but do like the chrome fog bezels, especially on that color (darker color probably stick with the black).

Re: OEM Mopar Removable Roof Rack

Try this thread for noise. I had no problems with the Mopar racks (keep them on all the time). I get noise when I put my old Thule 924 ski racks on (wind turbulence on the roof) but with skis on it...

Re: Cooper Discoverer AT3 vs Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10

Don't know how much this will help, but here is my experience with Coopers. Last set of Coopers I had on my two WJ's (2000 and 2002 JGC) were Discoverers (not sure of exact model since had to...

Re: mud flaps on GC ?

Double-concur with Rage; PITA regardless. I ended up taking the tires off which helped, but still need to be a contortionist. The instructions blow too. I had screws where it said there was a...

Re: How to bring up TSBs at the dealer

I just brought my Jeep in yesterday for it's first oil change. I had also noticed your issue with the dead spots in throttle response and also my radio preset button likes to skip around. When I...

Re: Wind noise with Thule and Yakima Ski Racks

I purchased the Mopar cross-bars and used my old Thule 724 ski racks this past winter. I couldn't wait until the Thule fit kit came out. I have no noise with the bars but with the 724 on I get a...

Re: How much are you paying at the pump to fill up?

I have been running the tank pretty low so in the $70's. Last time was $79 @ $3.59/gal. I have had some gas pump shock, but it is attributed to the larger gas tank. I had a 2000 JGC previously...

Re: I am getting spooked

Nada except needing to get a few TSB's done. Bought a Laredo X off the lot.

I replaced my 2000 GJC with this 2011 and my wife has a 2002 JGC. There are bound to be a few lemons with anything,...

Re: Roof rack cross bar wind noise

Glad it was an easy fix  Although frustrating in the interim.

I'll report back after this weekend how it is with a set of Thule 724 (older model) ski racks installed.

Re: WeatherTech Floor Liners

I went with the Jeep slush mats. Light Frost leather; beige carpet but the black mats look sharp and good for the New England winters. Much cheaper than the Husky or Weathertech's. So far no issues.
