Interesting. i put it in low, indicator came on, and the console switch was in sand mode (light was on). Whether it was actually engaged i don't know.

BTW My window sticker, 2012 overland, says...

Hmm. that's right . So it is low range where the problem showed up.
i assumed it would have Positraction or similar where the wheel with the most
resistence gets the power.

no i didn't. But should the front have been spinning and digging when apparently the rear was not pulling? Simply taking it out of 4wd let it ease right out of there.

Took it out in the desert a few miles from the house to do some shooting.
drove into a wash (sand/gravel) and needed to crest an embankment. Put it in 4wd ( sand) and got it stuck. Outside , looking...

Hearing a low level noise from the dash when hvac is on. might describe the noise as a rumble but it is very faint and does not seem to vary with the fan speed other than with fan on high the noise...

i too remember when heaters were optional; and i like the keyless ignition on my new overland, but it needs a chime when the key is moved a few feet from the vehicle when the engine is running.

Finished the running board installation. While i was under it looked around for the oil drain (planning ahead) . Couldn't see it, guess i have to remove that black plastic brush guard, right?

I run nothing but ethanol in my race car and it produces far more hp than pump gas does. While energy content is less it has vey high octane rating.

I wouldn't put crappy regular...

Question right side courtesy light stays on

After engine is running and i have driven some , noticed the passenger side courtesy light remains on; the left side extinguishes as it should. Return home and turn off the engine and the light fades...

Newbie here but i found to adjust the nav volume go to NAV ;Menu:Nav settings;guidance prompts. There you can adjust the volume and save the setting.
