Re: Help! intermittent Jeep feels as though the transmission is very sluggish.

Welcome to the garage.
Can be several things, but i would start measuring the fuel pressure or just change the fuel filter/pressure regulator. Also a plugged up exhaust will reduce a lot the power,...

Re: My Radiator Fan Cooling Runs Slow

As long as the coolant temperature is in normal range and the AC works ok, i would not bother too much about it. If the sensor doesnt work well, then the coolant temp indication will be of as well....

Re: My Radiator Fan Cooling Runs Slow

The hydraulic cooling fan should run between 300-500 rpm with engine idling and engine temp normal. I have never tried to stop the fan on my jeep, but this doesnt seem to be normal. I would remove...

Yes, there are some upgrades available. That can be better clutches or eventually a shiftkit. The transgo shiftkit (costs about USD 90 i believe) has an upgraded (stronger/stiffer) accumulator plate,...

Re: 2002 jeep grand cherokee p0300 multiple cylinder misfire

Some people seem to run other then copper plugs, but i heard that they can give problems. You can first to try to rule out any other possibility, or just change them and be sure its (not) that.

Re: trans will not engage

The original accumulator plate is too flexible and can overload one of the bolts and just break the bolt. More bolts can break thereafter and you would loose the function of one or more accumulators....

Re: trans will not engage

Several shops like autozone seem to do the scanning for free. If you know the fault code, you can allways decide to take it to a repair shop if you wouldnt feel comfortable to repair it yourself.

Does the engine run rough? If so, did you check if the compression is ok? It can be that a rocker fell off and the respective valve is not operating anymore.
