Re: Uconnect team introduces all-new features and services for 2016 vehicles

Now, THAT would be nice..:D

Usually, such a feature would come in handy on vehicles that don't have any screens at all.

On the Grand Cherokee, this would be funny - it's like following a...

Re: Uconnect team introduces all-new features and services for 2016 vehicles

Sure, that might be an option - but I still have to ask: Why?

Even the use of a voice-command is an unnecessary distraction if you have a huge screen available that could do the job as well.

I...

Re: Uconnect team introduces all-new features and services for 2016 vehicles

Thanks for the update, Milous!

What always baffled me is that you can't see song- or radio-information on the big screen of the speedometer.

Instead of displaying this huge, useless...

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Now, what about these features? They are not listed as 'New' for MY16 (not anymore) - BUT....are still listed as 'new features' for the refresh itself:

Electronic parking brake (EPB) with Safe...

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

After double-checking, you're probably right. For some strange reason, I had MY20 for the delay in my head.

I certainly prefer MY19 though..:D

Re: 2016 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Interesting.

So MY19 (CY 2018) will be the launch of the all-new model after all?

I thought that was delayed for another year...

Re: Ever buy a car without seeing it in person?

I did - and not only once. My current Summit was also leased without seeing it 'in person' first. Although it was from a dealer not too far away, I agreed on taking it before it was brought to my...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

I just drove my Lincoln to the dealership. Since I haven't driven it in a while (my mum is the primary driver on that one now), I just noticed how 'easy' its steering is compared to the Jeep.

The...

Re: Auto high beams question

When I got my Jeep, it took me a while to figure that one out. I already thought my auto high beams wouldn't work since I enabled the feature in the EVIC.

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

I doubt it.:(

Since this would also require some sort of re-design of the entire pressure washing-system, they could have offered an LED-option, too.

OK, let's 'shift' the topic to something else - let's say 'headlights'.;)

Any chance the refresh will get LED-headlights - at least on the higher end lines?

Re: Is this supposed to be lit up?

My two best 'guesses':

1. Only buttons that actually 'work' are lit. This button can't be pressed so they might not want to confuse the driver/passenger.

2. Maybe they want to make it possible...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Since the Grand Cherokee will be 'all new' for MY17, I can see that happening.

I could still live with a MY18 introduction because I'll probably skip the initial MY17.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - V-8 Or V-6 ??

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - V-8 Or V-6 ??

If you are really looking for performance, go for the HEMI.

I can assure you though that the difference in consumption will be greater than '1-2 MPG' as somebody suggested earlier.

For me,...
