Woo Hoo got my truck back after almost 3 months at the dealers - the kicker was when they were putting it back together they noticed a leak from the Power Steering pump. So, not to wait another 6...

Well the parts arrived last Friday (all of them I hope) and the Dealer tells me by this time next week I should have my car back :lol::thumbsup:

Eight weeks so far waiting for a new sump from the states, with my truck in bits at the dealer, to hopefully fix an oil leak - Customer Service - Not good enough by a long shot!

...latest is they are now removing the transmission as apparently the sump is constructed in two pieces and may be leaking from near the transmission!!!! :slapfight:

Well it turned out to be that they stripped the thread on the sway Bar and is now deemed unsafe to drive and a week wait for parts. When I inquired as to a loan vehicle was told sorry none...

My oil leak turned out to be a 3 day replacement of the front crankcase bearing seal - now my suspension bangs like my old WG in Death Wobble mode!? Methinks they dropped a sway bar to get to bearing...

Yokies/Bob Jane have a 4 for 3 Deal ATM here in Perth which brings them down to about $315 each while the Hankooks walk in are $288 and the Goodyears $460

Yes I agree from what I am reading in these Forums their IT veracity on all sorts of levels, DPF/NAV etc has gone backwards since the first models - it's usually the other way around!;)

Mmmmm sounds like a known issue with the early 3.0 CRD's, a problem which I had and was solved by a reflash of software. (TSB)
