Sorry to hear about your Jeep Gandalf. I'm not well versed on replacing the fuel filters on Jeeps, but could the fuel filter have been installed improperly? Possible that the filter is directional...

EDIT: So I did a full charge on the battery after work yesterday, I actually connected the battery charger directly to the battery beneath the passenger seat and waited for the indicator to tell me...

I performed a drain/fill (and filter replacement) on my 2011 JGC and now I get intermittent rough starts...
