Re: heated seats

I will just add the 99-00 manual pages for the heated seats here. The 20A is not a fuse, but a circuit breaker, which resets automatically.
There is also a fuse in the heated seat circuit, which is...

Question Re: Rough starts and sputtering

Erratic/rough idle is normally or the IAC stepper motor dirty, or TPS on its way out. Since it became rough during driving as well, I would put my bet on the TPS. If you have a scanner which shows...

Re: 2001 WJ Misfire

Welcome to the garage.
The TPS seems to have a problem. I would reset the codes and see if they come back. If so, for P0121, i would start changing the TPS.
If you still have misfire codes...

Re: Alarm sounds when cranking - Jeep turns off

Hi Jamie, also not sure what the cause is. But a bit of moisture can already be enough to cause troubles. Didnīt you use dielectric grease before assembling the C200?
I expect that the source of...

Re: Alarm sounds when cranking - Jeep turns off

Some water leak from the windshield or even water entering via the antenna cable where it enters the cabin, could be a possibility. Use a waterhose and spray water over the jeep and inside the...

Re: Tail lights not working

Most of the times problems with the tail lights are because of a bad contact in the light sockets. Bending the small copper colored tabs a bit out normally solves that problem.

Re: Help! 2003 jeep tj sport electrical problems

You don't have a short, otherwise a fuse would melt and you would loose the connected components until changing the fuse. You have a bad contact somewhere. It could be a wire break inside the...

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

No, there is no external adjustment possible on these KYBīs, only the AGX have that, but donīt know if they are available for our jeep. The name probably makes you think that they are adjustable, but...

Very happy with the KYB gas-a-just, what a difference they make. The jeep didnīt ride that nice for a long time and probably never did with the Monroe Reflex. A comfortable but well controlled ride....

Re: Blower "Fixed" but not working correctly

Attached the wiring diagram for the AZC system. Compare the connections and see if any wire is switched. If not, i would presume that the blower motor controller is faulty (again).

Re: Dot 4 flush?

Both DOT 3 and DOT 4 (and DOT 5.1) are polyglycol ether-based fluids. The difference between the two is the boiling point of the fluid, where it is higher for DOT 4 fluids. So when your car needs...

Re: Odd sound from engine.

Re: Odd sound from engine.

You just have to compress the lash adjuster and while holding it in the engine oil, slowly release the adjuster. The spring will let it expand and will take the oil in. If you do this several times,...
