Re: Wk2 hemi oil change

Full synthetic is always better than mineral. The molecules in the synthetic oils flow more freely at low temperatures and don't break down at high temperatures as opposed to mineral. That's why...

The MDS will still work on 5W-30 and if you go thicker than that, you'll get a code thrown for "wrong engine oil type".

Nah, not expensive in comparison what the dealer wanted for a half flush. I wanted to undo the line at the transmission initially but decided to cut the return line as I found that to be easier to...

Ah, OK, I didn't quite understand what you meant. If it's to do with the rpms, then it's a different story. I had a similar issue where the rpms would move up and down when coming to a complete stop,...

Re: gear fluids

I use Redline with FM already in it. Just changed out the fluids 2 weeks ago and this was my second time with Redline. Awesome product and hasn't let me down considering I do regular offroading.

Re: Surging, pulsing while driving

Did you get all the bushes checked:

3x on front diff
2x swaybar
2x on each UCA
2x on each LCA

There's also the possibility of CV's.

You'll need an impact air wrench to remove that bolt. That's how I did mine and it was hard, with a lot of WD40.

Answers in red above.

It's not always all in brackets. It happens usually when I reverse, then goes away when I drive forward and select [N], then it's OK.

What's a driveshaft balancer?

I thought it was a machine they use for refurbishing old driveshafts.

If you can go under the car, check for oil around transmission and diff and if it's been wiped.

Check the heating and cooling too, another important one that could be missed.

Re: Champion Spark Plugs choices-CC,Iridium,Platinum, or Double Platinum?

Re: How much a week do u guys pay in gas

Depends on how much driving you do per year. My average is between 30K and 35K miles per year.

When I used to fork out $450/week, I used to do 70K to 75K miles per year.

The above is between...

Yeah, I was gonna say that there are other people much worse in this regard than me.

I remember the days from 2005-2007 when I used to spend $450/week on fuel. Now that hurt.
