Re: Michelin LTX M/S2

After 5000 mi on my 2012 Overland I switched from the Latitudes to the LTX MS/2 mainly because I was going into winter in CO and wanted a better tire for that. They were great in snow and hard pack....

Re: Leather cleaner and protector?

Thanks for bringing this up again. After a year of ownership of my 2012 I have just been using a damp cloth. Still think there may be something better given the dash is in the sun most of the time.

Re: Towing thread

You may have a point there but I towed my boat over 2000 miles 2 summers ago - CO to Kentucky, MI, CO and I never experienced that on 2 different 4-Runners. But I know in the winter there is sand and...

You will need to back up to the trailer you intend to pull or measure it's width to know for sure. I have tri-ponton boat and use the McKesh mirrors. Used them on 4-Runner and will now use on my Jeep...

Re: Towing thread

I'm well experienced with towing but still trying to figure out my limit for JGC as I've never towed with it and I know towing 7200 lbs of trailer and load would not be advisable for any distance....

Re: Michelin LTX M/S2

I was looking at the Silent Armor also but seemed to be a few more negative reports on GY in general. Given the snowflake designation it didn't seem to gain that much in snow/ice traction over the...

Re: Goodyear Silent Armour

One reason I'm considering the Mich LTX MS/2 here in CO is that I only do light off roading and the tests indicate this tire is very good in the snow, particularly harder pack which we have a lot of...

Re: What options on your GC did you discover weeks after?

My salesman told me this and I later saw in the manual but I love the ability to move the lumbar adjustment up and down to fit your particular anatomy vs. just adjusting the pressure in one place.

2012 5.7 Overland, last 2000 miles out of 3000 total miles average 18.6. EVIC and tracking gallons and miles were exactly the same. Interstate and semi rural paved roads.
