Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

I've been debating that one since I got my Jeep 7 months ago. Do I get the TGs in stock or 275/55 with the RRO Level or do I just get a 2nd set of 18" for off-roading. Benefits either way. All...

Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

There is an outer beach pass you can get. This will show you the beaches you can use it on. You don't have to be fishing it's really designed for camping, but fisherman do get additional access...

Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

Unfornately Long Island sucks for off-roading. You can get a beach permit for several beaches out east, but for the most part you have to off-road illegally. If someone knows where you could on L.I....

Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

I don't let my wife take my GC to the mall, I'm afraid she'll come home with a bunch of dinks. I'd rather take me chances off road with the 20 inchers.

Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

Stock 20" or did you go with an AT tire to warrant that badge?

I was thinking of dipping a badge in gold and changing it to 'Sand Rated' since I don't have skid plates yet. Think that would...

Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

In all seriousness, I would get that sorted out right away. You know it's a whole yin-yang thing and I wouldn't go off road without that being in the exact spot it's suppose to be. I don't want you...

Re: Trail Rated Badge Location

LOL, that's not a bad idea.

My other thought was to get a set of 18" and just velcro the Trail Badge when I have them on the car. On the other hand it might be cheaper to just buy an old Jeep...

Not to hijack (related to the thread) can you guys recommend a reasonably priced compressor that is good for the GC. I have a really cheap one and it's slow and VERY noisy.

That would have been handy. I actually got rear-ended in my '07 GC as well. I'm going to buy the beaver step for the back. Do you have anything in the back?

If you have an 8.4AN didn't your car come with NAV? I'm talking about when you add NAV to a NAV ready 8.4A.

Re: Long Term Experience with 275/55/20

Re: The official Wheel thread

Right now I'm pretty sure I'll be getting the 1.75" leveling and the 275. How does it feel acceleration wise. Does it feel heavier off the line?

Re: The official Wheel thread

Great thanks for the info. One other question are you considering getting the leveling done for the front or are you satisfied with the amount of space.
