Possible Issues

1.Possibly a defective ballast or capsule

2. If your NOT getting a power reading from the stock wiring your ballast/s are probably drawing too much current to fire up the HID...

Just to clarify. The rear fog lamp upgrade with either halogen or LED bulbs will work without any adverse effects with the electronics on the vehicle. This is ONLY when you leave the main taillight...

WK2 DRL upgrade and mod

Upgraded the DRL bulbs to 5000k 92smt LED bulbs and modified the circuit so the lamps don't turn off when the turn signals are activated.

I would say they are equivalent to the stock...

I would say they are equivalent to the stock halogen bulbs but match the HID's much better. They are not even close to a HID kit by any means but I wanted to try them out to see.

Yes, these kits are significantly easier to install compared to the regular MOPAR rear fog kit which only gives you full intensity rear fogs. My kit mimics the stock taillights so you get running...
