Rear safety camera

I did a similar thing to Futuresystem, except directly via the dealer, who did the groundwork and got approval within a week. I've had it for a few months and although it's better than the piece of...

Re: WK2 DownUnder

I use a totally inappropriate driving technique - one handed most of the time. I spend my whole time at work operating my piece of machinery with one hand on the wheel and the other controlling speed...

Same here. I was pretty forthright with them and supported my case with photos. It took a few days to get approval for the change, but it was all done through the dealer.

2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Hi 67HR (that was my first car [emoji1]) but I digress.

I've used K&N filters on a couple of bikes and one car, and in hindsight, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. The problem with them is...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I would avoid putting a K&N style filter in as a replacement for the OEM. They aren't affectionately known as "rock catchers" for nothing.
Stick with a good quality paper element (obviously not from...

I had mine disconnected for a week. I can't even remember if I lost the radio channels. I think they might have been preserved, but my memory is hazy.

Steve, were you asking me the question? (Jason?)

If so, i can't say I get any porpoising, but with 200kg on the towbar I certainly know it's there....

Re: The Towing thread

If you're going to use a WDH, just remove the bars before offroading.
That's what I used to do with our offroad caravan.

Our Vista RV has a tongue load of 200-220 when loaded to 1600kg. I'm...

Re: WK2 DownUnder

Steve, engine oil temp is generally in the high 90's to mid 100's under normal operations, whereas water is normally high 80's to low 90's.
That's generally a good guide for most piston engines (not...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Problems - Australia

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I meant to add that in previous visits some shock mounts were replaced. The noise reduced as a result, but not completely. The noise occurs under shock extension, not compression.
Hope this helps.
