I have gotten a second knob to give this a try. The Chrome ring snaps off. I tried prying and also sliding the 2 half apart to no avail. Does anybody know how the 2 halfs of the knob come apart?...

If the color and wood match is close to my overland I would pay $200. I am hobby wood worker and done quite a bit of carving over the years and that seems to a fair price to if the quality is good.
