Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

People seem to think that a new model car is impossible of getting hot in any circumstance.

I'm sorry, but any car towing a load, on a bloody hot day, climbing a range or driving into the wind is...

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

Only just saw this one... I won't recommend where I had mine fitted as they gouged one of my rims and I've done battle to get it fixed.

That is nothing wrong with the tyres, just the clown...

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

I couldn't be happier with them, I couldn't be unhappier with the shop that fitted them and gouged one of my rims.

GlennR, did you get my PM from earlier today?

Re: 20" Tyre Thread

I have the Cooper LTZ in 285/50/20 and no scrubbing at all. Speedo is now spot on accurate.

The 285/50 is closer in diameter to the stock size than the 275/55. They look great on the car!

Re: Shudder solution!

Hi guys,
I think I'm suffering from the same shudder. Can someone who has it please explain under what conditions they can replicate it?

I've just had some suspension work done so I'm thinking...

Re: Bullbar coming

The ECB bar has a lower protection plate that goes under the bullbar back to the jeep engine skid plate. It black powder coated.

Re: Aftermarket wheel options in Aus

Thanks scarps, I'll check it out.

EFS have apparently had a vehicle in and are developing suspension now. They're saying around 8 weeks until they're ready.

Aftermarket wheel options in Aus

Hi all,
I've got a '12 Limited and is schedules to have a 40mm lift shortly. I want to fit a set of aftermarket wheels to lower the offset by about 15-20mm and run 285/50/20 tyres.

The...

Re: Towbars in Australia

There is a good shot of the hayman Reese towbar in this gallery. Some pics of it being installed too.

Re: WK2 Tire Sizes that work

I would like to run cooper Zeons in 285/50/20. Does anyone have any experience with this size? I don't have QL but it is booked in for a 40mm suspension lift.

Thanks

Anyone tried fitting these mats to a RHD?

I'm after a set of protective rubber mats for my new Grand Cherokee but really don't like the Jeep 'slush' mats. I have always had Sandgrabba mats before but they don't make them.

I like the look...

Re: Grand Cherokee + sand = FAIL

Thanks BobT, I'm well experienced at sand driving, so will follow your advise and just use the sand mode. 4 low is generally not required on sand, I will also always lower the pressures as it is...

Re: Bullbar coming

I've never seen a smart bar that looks good yet, so I don't know why they would change their styling cues for this one. In contrast I think the ECB one looks awesome, i am very much considering...

Re: Grand Cherokee + sand = FAIL

Ok, so it can be done - just hope I'm not one of the unlucky ones.

Going on past experience with cars, I will be.

Re: Grand Cherokee + sand = FAIL

This is a major concern for me. I've got a CRD Limited on order to replace my 08 Hilux and I generally get up the beach a few times a year.

Has anyone successfully done some sand work in these...
