Re: 20" inch and 22" inch rim Pictures

Big wheels are a fad.... the bottom line is there is no performance benefit unless you have SRT power levels.... they make it ride a LOT worse, also with worse acceleration and handling from all the...

Re: Tips for removing vinyl headlight tint?

Magic eraser..... these are awesome, work great on all kinds of hard to clean stuff using NO chemicals, and leaving no residue.

Re: coolant issue

Carquest sells Xerex also and the G-5 is good for 150k. THis is OEM equiv. and uses propylene glycol, which does not mix with ethyene glycol, used in most other coolants.

Re: 2007 Grand Cherokee - Bilstein Shocks

MY opnion is quite different, i.e. I had WK Bilstiens for a year and could not stand the rough, bouncy and harsh impacts over ever little bump, and also the poor handling. In corners, the inside...

FWIW....Magic eraser should take the scuff marks out. Cheap, no chemicals, and works great with mine.

Re: HEMI Shock absrobers replacement advice

I have the FSD's, I would not say they are comfortable though, They are sporty and firm, but not rough or harsh. They are special order from Netherlands, so with shipping over 1200 bucks a set. ...

Re: Tune Up

Exactly, the ECU will adjust itself in learning mode, and after a while it runs worse than stock. There is nothing to gain with intakes in any circumstance, unless you install headers or SRT exh....

Umm, sorry but I respectfully disagree. Been there done that with the CAI, and so glad to be rid of it. The noise is LOUD and unpleasant, not sweet Hemi sound, plus the worst part is it drives...

Re: Tire suggestions for a 2010 GC?

Fortera's are mediocre at best, so many better choices out there. Look into Cooper tires, best bang for the buck IMO. I went with their AT3, but if you just drive on road their all season SUV...

Re: Driving without front sway test for noise

Re: Driving without front sway test for noise

Also, when doing the links you really need to upgrade the front bar, and get a matched set of sway bars. The understeer is simply horrible with a large rear bar and stock front one, as I found out...

Re: bwoodys came today!

Re: Driving without front sway test for noise

End links are shot with 50k. When you remove them you will see the mounting holes are gouged out, causing a clunk over bumps. Mine are starting to clunk a bit, after 30k. This is already the 3rd...

Re: Front strut mount replacement

Yes, it will fit, but do not put the front srt bar on with a stock rear sway bar, that is a very dangerous oversteer combination, ie. When the rear end swings around going around a fast sweeper..

Re: Stan..tire question

If you have AWD and 15-20k worth of wear on the tires then I'd say just get a new set of 4. The stock GY's are expensive, but a relatively poor tire anyway, so now's a good time to upgrade. The...

Re: best tires for all year driving ??

Re: Anyone know where this leak is coming from?

Just hand tighten the oil filter, as it was probably not screwed on enough when installed and is leaking. I've never had a filter gasket go bad so it's probably loose.
