Re: Dings on the hood from acorns

My 09 WK suffers from dents-by-acorns as well. Had a PDR guy come out once, estimated to be about $300 to remove them all, as I have about a dozen of them.

Really drives me crazy, had to start...

Re: Pulled the trigger and traded my 2011 Laredo X in on a 2014 Overland!

That is a beautiful vehicle. Outstanding color combination!

Really torn on trading my 09 WK in for a 10-11 MDX or a 14 Limited/Overland -- have to do a bit more thinking before I can pull the...

Re: First oil change some info and comments

Completely off topic, but did anyone else notice that Chrysler in their TSB called the diesel the "2014 WK Grand Cherokee SFU" .... I wonder if they borrowed the SFU designation from us here? :)

Re: Almost mine.. 2013 Brilliant Black Trailhawk

That's a gorgeous rig and I don't like black cars, but I would definitely drive that!

Re: Hardwire cooling fan

If you want to keep the engine cool, install a mechanical fan. I don't think the motors on the electric fans are designed to run constantly.

It'll cost you a bit in HP when locked...

Re: My replacement is here!

I have to agree, one is just bad, but TWO? Are you, or were you, considering any other vehicles before the WK2?

I'm thinking its the new electrical bus and architecture is throwing dealers for a...

Re: 2002 Special Edition Overland 4.7 H.O Start-Up Problem (VIDEO)

Sounds almost like a fuel pressure bleed down.

Try this to see if you can determine the issue. After the Jeep sits, put the key in the ignition. Turn it to ON (not RUN/START), wait for the chime...

Re: Oil Presure Drops to Zero?

Re: RB1 problem

The RB1 fan is supposed to run either anytime there is power to the vehicle (key to RUN) or when the unit is turned on, I can't remember which.

Sounds like the RB1 is overheating. May need to...

Re: 2 tries to start?

Yes, sounds like a fuel pressure bleed-down. Cycling the pump twice generally can fix it.

I had this routinely on my 02 I6, and intermittently on my 04 V8 HO - I learned to turn the key to RUN...

Re: Electric fan not running

Another victim of the electric fan relay failure.

You can replace it (go OEM!) and it'll ultimately fail again, or you can add a mechanical clutch fan and forget about the electric.

Re: 2000 jeep i6 rad fan not turning on.

Don't use aftermarket fan relays... Mopar only.
