In terms of warranty work , you can go to any dealer you please. As for general maintenance , you can go wherever you like as long as it's registered with the motor vehicle authority of your state....

Only thing I can suggest is a small spacer between the disc/hub and the wheel itself. Only thing is you may have to install longer wheel studs.

On a wheel that wide and a sidewall that short and stiff there is no way a 285 would fit on an 11" rim. I was once a manager of wheel centre for 5yrs and I would be very careful of buying from anyone...

Something else of note is overtaking times. 60-100km/h times are as important if not more so than 0-100. Seriously ,unless your rich or just a dick your not needing to do 0-100 times at every light...

Seriously boys these things weigh over 2tonnes and have 340 plus kW . Anything under 100kg is not gunna be noticeable. Besides its unsprung weight so won't make any difference when cornering.

Width for start. Different tyre manufacturers use different type of rubbers and they also can have a different size/number of steel belts too.
