On a NORMAL transmission, your right, 3 means it shifts UPTO 3, 2 means UPTO 2, etc...HOWEVER, even on my old F350 with an auto, you could MANUALLY shift the gears to whatever you wanted providing...

Factory fill is a mineral oil not a synth oil, which is why I was surprised... I chalk it up to the fact that the detergents in the RP didn't really have anything to clean as it was the very first...

and that other % is oxygen and hydrogen. I didn't want to respond until I tested this but I went from 6-7 psi change from hot to cold to 1-2 psi change with nitrogen. I haven't had a chance to test...

There is no need to "condition" your engine for preparation for full synthetic. I have heard such myths before as well.

Also, switching to synthetic can be done regardless of how many miles are on...

On mine, I wasn't facing uphill, I used the hard button, and it creeped toward the hill and then started its ascent, by itself... And I was pretty sure the box in uconnect is still "start" assist...
