Re: So who needs a starscan tool when you can get this....

The price for the autoenginuity depends on what you want. The complete kit is showing $1200 on their site: https://www.autoenginuity.com/order-online/vm-bundles.html

As far as programming, I have...

Re: So who needs a starscan tool when you can get this....

It seems that your device does the same as the autoenginuity except that the autoenginuity also allows you to make some configuration files. Also, you get free updates for a year and then they are...

Re: 2015 Radio Shut off Question

Nope, I think '13 was the last year where you could actually shut the radio off.

Re: How do I make it faster?

Buy a diablosport tuner and get a custom tune, get a cai, and exhaust. Not necessarily in that order, just some options

I did the same sort of setup on my 300,but put both lights on the hood, they work really well.
Thanks for the write up, I'm going to keep it handy if I have a Jeep to put these on.

I ran into the same issue, at one point I had a 2x4 wedged between the box and the hatch to keep it from moving. I think I also used some wired and tied it to the latch on the back of the seat. That...

Re: JL stealth box 2015 summit problem

I was just looking at the wiring diagram as well, it appears that it is a separate module but doesn't show where unless it's just built into the amp. In any event, you can always disconnect the...

Re: Fog lights on with High Beams?

If you have the correct software, and necessarily the starscan, there is an option called foglight dropout, you change that setting and they will not turn off with the highbeams. Or so I've heard...

Re: The way bass should be..

IMHO, an SRT deserves a better mount than a bungee cord. A box that size can slide out or break that.

Re: JL stealth box 2015 summit problem

Re: Outside lock button

If I have my phone in the same pocket as my key, I've had times where it doesn't see my key. If I remeber right its only when the key is between my leg and the phone.

Re: Arrington 90mm throttle body

The 90mm is overkill for a lot of 6.1 / 6.4s. Unless you have some heavy engine modifications and/or forced induction, I wouldn't do a 90mm.

Re: Need help with wheel upgrade(2009) to (2012)

Drive slow, and make a hard turn, you'll hear it rub without destroying tires. Spacers shouldn't ruin alignment, but I wouldn't run a huge spacer just to get wheels to fit. Also, depending on the...

Re: Need help with wheel upgrade(2009) to (2012)

10" wide wheels won't work on the front of a WK1, however, that offset may help or you may need spacers. Grab one and do a test fit.

Re: 2012 5.7 L Oil Pressure with Mobile 1

34 at idle when warm is fine. My 6.1 and my 426 both sat around 28-30 when warm. According to the service manual, anything above 4psi(!) is fine.

Re: High RPM and fuel consumption while driving

You have to remember that the 300 is way more aerodynamic than the Jeep. The equivalent of 14MPG isn't really that bad for these. You also have to remember that theses are AWD too. Same engine and...

Rear speaker output of the amp in the rear quarter panel. wk2jeeps should have all the pinouts you need.

Re: need to tap into battery for amp -- recommendations?

No...you need a ring terminal for a power wire. Get an 8 gauge (4 preferably) amp kit, it will have a ring terminal already on the power wire.

Re: 2011+ tuning via Diablo is COMING!

The canned tunes are respectable but a good CMR tune makes a huge difference. I've already put Johan on alert for me. :D
