Re: Don't know if i should buy a wrangler.

Agreed - it's fantastic.

I don't think a soft top is the best choice for living in NYC. I also wanted a Wrangler and ended up with an 'extra' vehicle that is a '75 CJ5 that is just for fun. But I...

Re: Extended warranty

I think those are both great deals - for the dealer. I'm on my 4th Jeep, and not one has cost me that much in 175,000 miles to say nothing about 175,000 km.

Re: Brake Recall

I'm glad to see this recall. I love my 2012 GC, but I have lost the boosting power twice in the last two winters. That may not sound like much, but it's scary as hell when it happens. Both time was...

Re: Rust...RUST....RUUUUUST! HELP ME!

Rust started to develop on the area just above the windshield on my 2003 Liberty about years ago due to road debris damage. I had that area repainted for a few hundred dollars and it still looked...

Re: Trade in dilemma

Talk to another dealer - they can repair it for a lot 'cheaper' than you can. My 2003 Liberty had 123,000 miles on it with the original tires. I asked whether I should replace the tires before...

Re: Highway Mileage

I average over 26 mpg in the summer as long as I don't go over 65-70 mph and there are not a lot of short trips. Winter in MN is not good for the fuel economy. Between the fuel blend and cold weather...

Re: Has anyone tried headlight cleaner/Do they work?

I've read on multiple sources that whitening toothpaste works well for cleaning headlights. Just make sure you're using your wife's or your girlfriend's toothbrush when try it.

Re: Replace Cabin Air Filter --- Just Do It!!!

I changed mine at about 30,000 miles and it sure needed it. It is a little different than years ago when tree seeds would blow in my face from the dash vents.

I remember when my 2003 Liberty hit 111111. It looked more like an error code than an odometer reading.

Re: What was your 2nd choice?

It came down to a 2012 Grand Cherokee (it was to be my 4th Jeep) and a 2012 Ford Explorer. The deciding factor was the left leg room for the driver. The wheel well on the Explorer was just like my...

Re: Possible new Jeep owner worried about realibity

No vehicle is without issues, but I am on my 4th Jeep, and all have been relatively good for over 125,000 miles (up to 200,000 miles).

Now the 1976 Rustang was a different story. Cars from the 50s...

Re: Air filter housing hose to engine missing?

I think it is uncommon for any vehicle to be in the shop that long. I've had engines changed out in 3 days. The only excuse is if parts are not available.

Re: I am reallynot quite sure what to say......

I generally don't care what people spend money on unless those same people complain about not having any money. As for my money, I'm definitely not spending any of it on those rims and tires.

Re: CRUISE CONTROL Hard to turn on

I've noticed the same thing on my 2012. It works best to click at the top of the button where the ridge is. That will reliably turn the cruise on every time.

1. How does the Cherokee compare (size, features, comfort) to the GC?
2. Specifications (size)?
3. Cost???

Re: Usable lifetime of 2014 Grand Cherokee

Re: What do you guys think of "dealer recommended" service intervals?

I think it is all a scam by the dealer to increase revenue. Sure, those fluids may need to be replaced sometime, but I sure think 25,000 miles is about 100,000 miles too soon. Are you really planning...

Re: Closer look at the new 3.0 turbo diesel
