The aren't any advantages to running an "oiled cotton gauze" air filter over a quality dry filter, like the Donaldson power core filter offered by Volant in their Hemi CAI kit.

You should be able to pull the bottom half of the stock box straight up and out of the engine bay w/ a firm tug. Be sure there are no hoses in the way...

After you remove the weatherstripping from the front intake lip, just pull the box out. Those rubber things at the bottom are grommets that are squeezed over little formed plastic pegs.

yes. one of the sides slides in to release - spring loaded (i think left side). It acts like a giant toilet paper roll holder.
