Re: Hit 17,000 miles and dramatic mileage increase

I agree that there are other factors at play. I guess I might have emphasized the trip to SF, but the increase in mileage has maintained for the last two tanks, at least. Whatever it is, I like it.

Re: Hit 17,000 miles and dramatic mileage increase

Most fuel in California doesn't change with the seasons. It's hard to find non ethanol stations. So, in my case, the fuel is a constant.

Hit 17,000 miles and dramatic mileage increase

We live at 2,100 feet and pretty much everywhere we go is either up or down. For much of the time I have driven my 2014 Overland V6, the average milage has been 18-19 mpg and longer road trips have...

Talking Nav got lost in translation...

So we were driving to Sacramento to have an early dinner with my wife's 87 year old uncle; he likes to eat at Sizzler Steakhouse.

On the way, we got into a discussion about which exit was best....

Never mind, looks like the train left the station with Chrysler sitting in the parking lot:

Re: Tried to replace a blown fuse yet?

I think my issue is with the trailer. It is a new enclosed cargo type and I think it has some sharp edges along the interior wire runs. My 5 year old open utility trailer still works fine with the...

Re: Uconnect Background change?

People are complaining about wood grain background? My Overland has a cracked mud scorched earth scene. Was probably intended for the "Mad Max" edition that never came to production.

Re: Tried to replace a blown fuse yet?

There are several fuse locations specified as "Spare", but Chrysler apparently figured that we would all immediately go out and populate them. Mine are all empty.

Re: Tried to replace a blown fuse yet?

One would think, but the dealer did not stock them. Had to make a run to their supplier.

Re: Tried to replace a blown fuse yet?

Thanks for the lead. There is an Autozone store about 20 miles down the hill who stocks them.

My local dealer dug me up one this afternoon. They won't be stocking them unless "demand grows". ...

Tried to replace a blown fuse yet?

About 1/2 of the fuses in the box under the hood are micro fuses (micro2, I think).

I blew the fuse for the trailer right turn signal last night. Still have not found a replacement fuse. Auto...

Oh, I should add that the dealer checked out the Uconnect version and wondered how I could have had the latest update because my Jeep service records didn't reflect the update.

I told him that the...

Re: Yellow drip in snow midway back

Yes, if it is a leak. I'd try putting a drip pan underneath it for a night or two. At least then, if you still got drips, the taste test will be less slushy.

Re: Ready for winter 2014 GC Summit on 18" wheel Michelin X-ICE 2

Re: Ready for winter 2014 GC Summit on 18" wheel Michelin X-ICE 2

So here's a question for you guys who swap out for snow tires; how much of the time the tires spend on the car during the winter will the tires be running on pavement vs. actual snow?

I live at...

Re: Uconnect pandora....

It's actually very simple. What was described as a "Trial" was originally supposed to be listed as a "Trial and Tribulation". On that count, I think they are doing quite well.
