I have a quadra drive transfer box. It had the fluid changed about 2000 miles ago. No idea on diffs but they were done at the same time. It is a 2005 3.0 CRD.

Re: Wheel bearing stuck on shaft

Not sure I understand your comment as the workshop told me what needs to be done. They could not do it because they did not have the appropriate equipment.

Wheel bearing stuck on shaft

It seems that the front right wheel bearing is refusing to budge and my local garage is unable to get it off the shaft. They have suggested that I take it to a commercial dealer or a Jeep dealer who...

Thanks. I think I will get it done at the local non franchise Jeep dealer. Jeep UK want nearly 300 per axle and the non franchise only 150 including all fluids.

Is it a difficult job and are any special tools require. What needs to be done to be able to change the fluids as I think my axles may need a fluid change? It is a 2005 GC 3.0L. Thanks.

How long should it take a garage to replace the bushes on the sway bar and also to replace the sway bar links? It is a 2005 Grand Cherokee.

I have a 2005 3.0 CRD with 66,000 miles and we get about 25mpg urban and up to 32mpg on motorway. Towing a twin axle caravan we get about 24mpg. We like to think our fuel consumption is good!

Shocks changed by a former Jeep dealer and thumping/banging reduced substantially. Only hear something when going over another pot hole of which we have a lot around us.
