Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Finished up the install of the RRO leveling kit + some .75" rear TJ coil spacers to give it a little bit of a rake.

Also added 255/75/17 Cooper ST Maxx on my 17's.

Ride is definitely more firm...

Re: Rocky road super sliders wk2 thoughts?

It's not just those portions at the front and back that are exposed, but also basically along the entire side skirt pinch weld it's much less protected than it should be for rock sliders.

Re: Rocky road super sliders wk2 thoughts?

Pros:

- Cheap
- Looks to be a fairly easy install

Cons:

- They're no where near as close to protective as the Mopar or Uneek ones.

I'd be interested in a petrol one too, if they ever come to fruition. Much better looking and more functionality than a spray paint cap.

Re: Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure

I think a 255/70/17 will fit just fine, probably without the bins. It's the widths at 275 and over that seem to be problematic and keep the lid ajar.

Re: New Upgraded Headlights

I was trying to do myself a favor by not doing the install myself. I guarantee I would've had fewer results than the shop did, so that's not a viable solution. As TLF said, "any shop should know how"...

Re: Biggest 17" tires on stock wheels?

Largest you can go is about a 32" - 33" tire with a lift. Options for 17's are limited...they are 265/70, 275/70, possibly 255/80 or 285/70 depending upon the outside diameter of the specific tire,...

Re: Raising an SRT WK2?

I doubt you'd be able to fit anything very much over a 32" tire on the SRT honestly. Standard WK2s with the highest lift (2" max) are barely able to fit 33" tires without some pinch weld folding and...

Good to hear. I've had my eye on those for quite a while and have been eager to hear other's reviews of them.

Also looking at getting the same size most likely, because they're C load.

Re: WK2 custom rear storage

Awesome use of the space Wadeaus!

Spare tire setup reminds me of the old Cherokee spare location. Very well thought out to make use of the most space.
