If it's really a no-cost upgrade to the diesel for you over the v6, get the damned diesel! Just on the cost savings, you can take longer trips around town as needed for the diesel... Since the jeep...

Ball mount/Ball-- which one is best?

Okay...

towing newbie here (except a couple of times towing cars with my mechanic friend), so cue the inevitable laughter (but hey, gotta ask or I'll never learn).

What's the best ball...

Re: Donít Forget the 2011s!

Damn... all y'all with 50 or 70K on the odometer... My 2K11 just passed 16,000 miles after almost 2 years (August of '11). Until a couple months ago, I had a lovely commute to work-- 5 minute's walk....

The system's a bit smarter than you think. You're trying to test it, but most likely being cautious (as you should!). Just leave it alone, wait and see. I've had it alert me a handful of times in two...

Re: Skid plates for the 2014 Summit-- how much?

Alright... I guess I should change my sig to ordered...

'14 Summit, V6, Black/Black...

Without the extra charges for the extended warranty/shipping overseas, I'm at just under $47K for it. I'm...

Wink Re: 72 hours with '14 Overland

That's odd. Everyone's saying this like VR controlling everything from climate controls to the radio is a new feature. I've had this in my '11 Overland since I bought it. The only problem I've...

Re: First world issue: AWY or AWB on '14 Overland with V8 or CRD?

Don't think about it, just get the ORII. The 18"s look more jeepish (IMHO) and you can't go wrong with the skid plates.

Re: 2014 fully loaded limited or overland?

I went for the Overland in the '11, after testing out the Limited (For the '14 I'm going for the Summit).

Bottom line-- the interior upgrades really give a much more premium 'feel' to the Jeep....

Cd/DVD Player in 2014-- It's not removable

Re: Skid plates for the 2014 Summit-- how much?

I'm getting it for only $2k more than the overland. $51k overall, but that's with a 7-year overseas warranty and shipping to Europe-- about $5k of extras in those costs. It's through the military.

Re: Skid plates for the 2014 Summit-- how much?

Skid plates for the 2014 Summit-- how much?

I can also go for the...

Besides, if you don't like the $1500 cost, consider this:

What fender-bender, however minor, is going to cost less than $1500? (between deductibles, lost re-sale value, etc)

If this saves you...

Re: ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY GROUP (ADG) any reason to get it? Lower insurance rate?

I have the ADG on my '11, and it's really a nice thing to have. the blind-spot monitors are an extra peace-of-mind, and the adaptive cruise itself is something that you don't miss until you use it!...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Front parking Sensors-- is this available on the Overland, or only on the Summit? I really had my heart set on the Summit, but no ORII is aiming me towards an Overland (or an X-5).

Re: Use Caution if Using Low Fuel Light to Determine Refueling

Rule of thumb: never let your gas tank get below 1/2 full. You never know when you'll get into a high-speed chase with the cops, and it's just embarrassing to have it end because of an empty tank!
