Re: 265/50R20 Tire Opinions

Nokians are awesome. I have the hakkapelitta r SUV for winter duty. A friend of mine had wr g2's on her x5. They were great as an all season but actually performed well in snow too. Go for them.

Re: Picking up a brand new 14, need opinions!

Summit is worth it for the HK system. The standard system is pretty sub par for the price. If they offered the HK system on the Overland I'd buy that. I like the Overland front end, color options...

Re: Powder Coating Vs Plasti Dip (Wheels)

If they will be your primary wheels and you want them to look good, get them powder coated.

I plastidipped the winter wheels I'm using on my GC. I have Laredo X wheels that I sprayed black last...

Re: OEM tires are horrible in Snow.

That's odd. I'm in PA and I have Laredo x 18" wheels on my summit for winter with nokian hakkapelitta r SUV tires. Had it inspected by the dealer last winter without any sort of an issue. Vehicle...

Re: For the dogs...cargo area height?

We put our 95lb GSD in the back without the seats folded down and he's fine. He usually lays down or just sits there. I have a weather tech mat in the trunk in case he gets sick or is all wet.

Re: Dealership Service Department Sucks...

After getting screwed over once and waiting 5 hours, why would you do that again? I despise my jeep service department too. Very slow to complete tasks and they don't offer loaners. I have to remind...

Re: Diesel People - Enlighten Me? (2014)

Yes, but it will get up and move a lot quicker than the v6 and tow more. All while performing the points you've mentioned.

Sure the v6 is great engine. Its a good selection for city/suburban stop...

Re: Winter setup. Plasti-diped Laredo X wheels with Nokian tires.

Re: maintenance costs for diesel?
