Re: ACC and towing?

If the trailer brake controller is connected correctly, trailer brakes will work when ACC brakes the vehicle. WK2s with the trailer package come with wiring to connect to a trailer brake controller...

Re: Funky brake pedal feel, dealer stumped, anyone else have this issue?

The brake pedal should not be as soft as you describe. The WK2 brakes are very hard to bleed correctly. Your dealer must follow the description in the manual exactly - even though it goes against...

Re: Hill Decent control

Even though the owners manual refers to HDC in 4wd high range, HDC does not work in high range. Not sure why it has not been corrected.

Re: bleeding abs module???

Air will not get into the ABS system even if all of the fluid drains from the brake system and the ABS valves are not opened. Once the parts of the ABS system that are blocked from the normal brake...

Re: bleeding abs module???

When you change the brake line, there is usually no need to do anything but a normal brake bleed. The only time it is necessary to bleed the ABS module by hooking up to the scan tool is if the...

Re: Blind Spot Monitoring/Adaptive Cruise Ctl

If you haven't noticed it yet, then I don't think it will interfere with the way you drive. It is somewhat subtle and will not do anything bad if you turn on your signal and don't change lanes.

Re: Blind Spot Monitoring/Adaptive Cruise Ctl

I think it will accelerate some when you turn on the left turn signal before the car in front is out of the way. Give it a try.

Re: Blind Spot Monitoring/Adaptive Cruise Ctl

Has anyone noticed that the ACC system will accelerate some if you turn on your left turn signal when you are going to pull out and pass a car going slower than your set speed? This is another nice...

Re: Electronic Module under Driver Seat

The module under the driver's seat controls the 4wd system. The controller for the air suspension system is located there too (on vehicles with air suspension).

Re: Locking the center differential

The WK2 does not have a center differential in the normal sense. The transfer case just has a clutch that can be "locked" up to the capacity of the clutch. Torque is always sent to the rear wheels...

Re: Hill decent

Hill Descent Control only works in 4wd low range. I know the manual says it works in 4wd high range but it does not. I think the manual has been updated or will be updated.

Re: Black Alloy Wheels

I don't think 17" wheels will fit on your WK2. The 5.7L 4x4s have the larger brakes and I know Jeep 17" wheels will not fit. If your rear rotors are vented, you have the large brakes.
