Re: Possible to set mileage in replacement instrument cluster to ACTUAL mileage?

The most simple way is to take it to the stealer, they can change the milage using the DRBIII scanner. The milage can only be changed to higher numbers and not to lower, so that should work for you....

Re: Instrument cluster lights won't go out.

I don't think that a 04 cluster will work. There seems to be some different programming. For example the oil pressure is not real pressure on the 04, but just a fixed pressure when there is a minimum...

Re: Instrument cluster lights won't go out.

You can try the instrument test and see if that will reset anything: with ignition switch in off, push the odometer reset button. While keeping it pressed, switch ignition in run. Now all instrument...

Re: Instrument cluster lights won't go out.

Do all the warning lights stay on, or just a few? Even with the ignition in off, they still stay on? Did you already try and disconnect the battery for a few minutes and check again? The instrument...

Re: Enging Whining

Power steering fluid is at the right level? If so, then I would remove the acessory belt and check the pulleys for bad bearings. Also spin the alternator and power steering pump to check for noise.

Re: Drive Line Vibration Mystery

Iīm not sure if your jeep requires friction modifier in the differentials. Which four wheel drive system does it have?
Because your problem description seems to be a locking differential.

Re: 2006 5.7 Trans shift problems

Was the input speed sensor 400 rpm misreading? Was the input speed sensor changed?
The clutch dust probably indicates a slipping clutch or maybe a clutch which doesnīt release completely. Was the...

Re: will not start now

So it seems to be temperature related. Many times a speed sensor (crank or cam) fails when its old and getting hot, even without any fault code set. Its not a garantee though, it could still be...

Re: a few fuses... a few diff. problems. pls. take a peek.

For some reason the BCM freezes with the wire broken. The battery will have to be disconnected to reset the BCM.

Re: rear suspension noise.

Some typical WJ noises can come from the lower shock bolts (from which the necks are standard a bit too thin), the upper control arm center ball joint or worn bushings. But since it makes the noise...

Re: a few fuses... a few diff. problems. pls. take a peek.

This kind of problems is mostly a broken wire in the drivers door boot. You could try a battery disconnect first, since sometimes the BCM can freeze up.
Also have a look at fuse #3 in the PDC under...

Re: Oil Change Help Needed

I had something similar with a diff plug once. I went to an exhaust shop (was closest by) and he welded a bolt to the plug. I would get a new plug first, so you can install that one afterwards.

Re: 2007 Jeep GCk Lmt Jolts as 2 gears at once

The P0884 points to an intermittent power supply problem of the TCM. Since you donīt drive for longer periods in 1st and 2nd gear, the change that the power interrupt just then occurs is quite small....

Re: Cruise Control takes off WOT

3.7 and 4.7 still have the vacuum controlled servo system, while the 5.7 is servo less. This should be for 05-08 models, not sure after that.

Re: Cruise Control takes off WOT

I would expect a servo solenoid failure to be setting a fault code in the PCM. Not familiar with the WK myself, but on the WJ we can see the faults doing the key dance.

Welcome to the garage. Have a look at the IAC plunjer first. If dirty, clean it and the air canal. If this seems to be ok, then it could be the TPS.
