Re: Lifetime bumper to bumper SRT

Confirmed, they definitely do have lifetime bumper to bumper warranties available for SRT's. I know because I have one. I'm in the U.S. Not sure about other countries.

Re: Done with the SRT - my story

Brutal. That seals the deal for me on the decision not to do FI. I'll wait and see what comes from the factory (if anything). Enjoy the Raptor, it's a nice truck.

Re: Rax Jailbreak installed with extra cameras

What would be nice is a rax system with integrated front/rear looping video recording. Both cameras at the same time. Possible (within reason)?

Re: INJEN / "TRUE" CAI / Test fit SRT8 Jeep Needed

Seems like if it was going to happen, it would have already. Shame, they could have basically stole the market with some clever engineering and decent pricing. The b woody is relatively expensive and...

Re: Srt door sills

I emailed a guy on ebay who sells illuminated jeep sills and he said he would laser cut some custom illuminated jeep srt sills for 500.00.

I'm thinking of doing black sills with red-lit srt logos...

Re: Poor Fuel Economy?

I'm getting 15 avg with some daily leadfooting. She'll get 19-21 on the interstate cruising at 70 mph. The slightest hill or wind can push it up or down.

I also have lifetime bumper to bumper. It's definitely possible on a SRT.

Re: Dead pedal options?

I don't see why it couldn't work. But glued I think it would shift around underfoot when on top of the carpet fibers and feel cheap. Maybe peel back the carpet and see what's underneath and find a...

Re: Take a pic of your ride right now!!!

It's still a jeep after all! She can handle the ice! -5 degrees with -25 F windchill. Keepin' it real SRT style.

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

There's been examples of this suitcase delete where it can cause excessive sonic/pressure wave pulsations that travel directly back to the stock rear resos and cause them to crap out after several...

Re: Muffler/ Resonator delete

Cutting the suitcase out is bad unless a full, properly tuned exhaust system is put in its place. Here's a quote:

"We proved on the dyno last year that removing the suitcase muffler resulted in a...

Re: Exhaust restriction

It's interesting you say that Scott. Are you running a tune? I found a quote regarding this issue.

"We proved on the dyno last year that removing the suitcase muffler resulted in a loss of low end...

Re: Another Mufflex exhaust happy customer.

I just did the dual rear delete while keeping the stock tips and it cost me 150.00. Done in an hour. It's effectively the same thing as a mufflex job. Mufflex isn't a ripoff but agreed, it's silly...

Re: Black Jeep, SRT, and 392 emblems

You can use tape to line them up perfectly. Tape first along the factory placed emblems, then remove them leaving the tape in place. Place your new emblems along the tape lines. Much easier than...

Re: Black Jeep, SRT, and 392 emblems

Search '392 hemi badges' on amazon. There's two different color options. The all black looks good on white trucks and the red looks good on black ones.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 SRT today?

Re: Muffler/ Resonator delete

I just had it done today. Took less than an hour and cost 150.00 keeping the stock tips. I did NOT have the forward 'suitcase' muffler deleted, just the rear resos were done, as its been reported...

Re: Steam cleaning black chrome spider monkey rims ?

I've had great luck with the stuff I use. I also run Hawk ceramic pads which helps a ton. Putting an easy spray on polymer coat certainly doesn't hurt anything. I deal with salt in the winter and I...

Re: Steam cleaning black chrome spider monkey rims ?

I would think it's fine. It's just hot water. Don't get the nozzle super close and if you have chipping/flaking be careful not to make it worse. Then get yourself some good wheel protectant. I like...

Re: well she's on air.

I think it's cool if for no other reason than to show it can be done. The workmanship looks nice. Please update us with your thoughts as you ride around longer.

Re: Swap chrome on grille rings & front with 2015 Vapor trim?

They are nice, but not 225.00 nice. I'm going to try some black gloss carbon fiber vinyl wrap on mine and see if I like the contrast/look. If not, I'll paint them.

Re: Removing front vents??? HELP!!!

I'm avoiding a puchase on one because I'll likely Ripp it next year, but thought it might be interesting to see what can be done with the stock airbox and a tube of some sort.
