Re: Issues with ACC

I am having the same issue. Its been happening for a few months now. The dealer has a STAR (?) case open and will be replacing the sensor. Unfortunately there is no parts available so its a waiting...

Re: Summit Wheels on 2014 Overland

I suppose this is true. They would have to be shipped (im in canada) which will cost both of us so a dealer swap might be cheaper for you. I just really don't like of the stock ones. But they are...

Re: Summit Wheels on 2014 Overland

Why don't one of you guys just swap with me instead of letting the dealer. I want more chrome on the corners and going with summit rims or the chrome overland ones from OE. Either way my stock...

Re: 2014 Canadian Pricing for Grand Cherokee

It has been like this for many many years. The gap has gotten a bit closer but its only close enough to make you think twice about importing. The CDN MSRP on the 2014 overland with mopar chrome and...

Re: Cold Weather Diesel Operation WK2

That shouldn't make him feel any better because the windchill is moot when it comes to the tempature of the jeep at start up.

Re: Incredibly stupid question...

I think my biggest problem was that i left it in D. After reading some comments, manual mode would have been more suited to pulling it. 2200pm @ 100 in 4th would feel perfect and give me better than...

Re: Incredibly stupid question...

Not a popup. Wind resistance does make a lot of sense. Its not massive by any means but that could be contributing to the problem. The manual gives 40sqft of surface area. That doesn't seem like a...

Re: Incredibly stupid question...

This is what i estimate it to be when fully loaded:

2 x 40lb propane = 80lbs
30 gal of water = 250lbs
Suitcases/toiletries = 80lbs
Pots pans and other gear = 150lbs
Food, drinks and of course...

Re: Incredibly stupid question...

2800lbs dry yes. There was some jacks and a add on storage box with a spare in the back so i guess it was about 3000lbs pulling it home.

There is most definitely a trailer service place around...

Re: Question about amped output to sub.

I am assuming its actively x'd over at the amp or the head. AFAIK its just one amp for the whole system according to some schematics i looked over. I read a post on here that it rolled off heavily at...

Re: Question about amped output to sub.

I was thinking rear door or hatch speakers but historically, with the stereos i have installed, all speakers from the head unit or factory amp had the range cut off on the low end to prevent high...

Question about amped output to sub.

First off, this is my first post! I picked up a '12 Overland about a month ago and so far it am pretty pleased. Despite a few quirks (remote start a/c) its been fantastic!

Now to the question..

Re: Overland Audio Specs

What i would like to know that isn't on the list the wattage of the amp supplied to the sub and the resistance of the factory sub.
