I can agree with you totally, You can buy remaned driveshafts , so they have to be repairable somehow.
This could be a interesting project , Its to cold for me to go and try it, Plus mine isnt...

Its a whole new learning curve ,lol. In Crawling you want the suspension to flex and move freely , where in the street thing , Its better to have a stiffer suspension. Not to mention the height...
