Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Not today, but Saturday......

Traded it in for a 2014 Ram 1500 Crew 4x4 Lonestar edition. WK2 just wasn't big enough anymore. Have a little girl on the way and with 2 car seats (full and...

Re: My 2014 Deep Cherry Red Limited 4x4

MPG is about 17-18 on my mixed drive to work. Few lights, but not exactly stop & go traffic. And I'm not easy on the skinny pedal, either. I do usually keep it I ECO mode, though. Sacrilege, I...

Re: My 2014 Deep Cherry Red Limited 4x4

I don't at this point, no. My speedo is about 2mph slower than actual, though. Programmer is just not on the priority list for this Jeep. its' my daily and any mods usually go to the JKU first. ...

Re: Trailer Hitch Installation

No, didn't get the cooling system because I don't plan to tow a trailer with it anytime soon. I wanted it to carry a bike rack. Honestly, for what I spent on the bike rack and the hitch, I could've...

Re: Trailer Hitch Installation

I went with the factory tow hitch for my '14 and it was pretty easy to install. The trailer wiring is already there; just need the plug that installs into the rear bumper fascia. Speaking of which,...

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

My wife wasn't thrilled about me spending $500 on a set of HID retrofits for my JK, but it was a safety concern. Not so much for the Grand...and it's a bit more than $500.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Wait....really??? $1500 worth of headlights is 2nd fiddle to your probably sub-$100 caliper covers?

The Grandy is my daily driver. When I spend money on a Jeep, it normally goes to my JK. ...

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

I know my wife and I want to do the upgrade......just don't know if I want the cost associated with it. Currently have HID's in the stock projectors, but prefer the LED DRLs and actual bi-xenons.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

So after reading this thread, I can assume that to retrofit my 2014 Limited w/ halogen projectors will cost me in the $1500-$1800 range if I acquire the headlights from somewhere other than the...

Re: Pictures Only Please

I honestly don't feel much of a difference from stock. Maybe a little less acceleration and obviously a little more fuel consumption, but not significant. Wheel are 20x8 ET18. Offset isn't as...

Re: My 2014 Deep Cherry Red Limited 4x4

Thanks. Think I may have had my shutter speed a couple ticks to slow, though. Took a little more editing than I would've liked and the sky looks pretty blown out.

My 2014 Deep Cherry Red Limited 4x4

So I've had this thing since April 2013, but it still makes me smile every time I drive it. Well....at least until the radio starts acting up again.

Finally got a chance to take a few snaps with...

Re: The official Wheel thread

The driver's front tire catches the fender trim if I back out to the right and then try to straighten out before moving forward a bit. But none other than that. And that's caused by the aggressive...

Re: Rocky Road Outfitters WK2 Leveling Kit

Finally snapped a decent pic of my Jeep half way clean with the RRO leveling kit and 20x9 ET18 XD Monsters and 265/60R20 Terra Grapplers. Just took it on a 1500 mile trip from DFW to New Madrid, MO...

Exactly. Just spacers installed on top of the front struts to bring the front level with the rear. I think technically it puts the front 1/8"-1/4" higher than the rear, but I didn't really notice a...

Look up Rocky Road Outfitters. They should have what you're looking for. Judd installed their 1.75" leveling kit on my MY14 WK2 and couldn't be happier.

Thanks! Totally changes the look of the WK2 IMO. Now for a Overland grill and maybe some OEM HID headlights.....much later down the road. Other stuff to pay for at the moment.
