Re: Dead Spot in Acceleration 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 3.6VVT

Jeep didnt put a new 8 speed transmission in the 2014 for the whopping 1mpg gain.

The new GC is just too heavy with the high gearing to move properly. The Wrangler has the same setup with lower...

Re: WK2 Transfer Case SWAP

I have QTI and considered this myself, but put a swap out of your mind unless you've attempted this with other vehicles before and swaped in engines, t-cases, etc.

Better to just suck it up and...

Re: I take delivery tomorrow...V6 owners need your feedback

I'm used to power and the V6 was a huge step down for me. However, I've had mine 16 months and it doesn't bug me to the point of trading in, like my previous 2 4-bangers did. The V6 is just above...

Re: 2012 Transmision V6 shifting at 25mph

I have that issue every now and then... Maybe once every couple of weeks, I think the speed and condition of when I let off the gas has to be right. 38K on my 2011.

Re: dual cab conversion

I always thought Jeep should consider bringing back the Cherokee truck as a 4-door competitor, considering how well Tacomas and Frontiers seem to sell.

Re: Add "Trail Rated" Badge to GC Limited?

I like the badge but must agree, if a Dodge Caliber (Patriot) can be trail rated, they may as well start putting them on Civics.

Re: Was not getting Quadra-Trac II a mistake?

If you mainly do road driving or light trails you're fine, and potentially more reliable long term since qt-1 is single speed and less complex.

Those who have or tried to trade up your WK2

I have 27K miles...

Re: 4.7 vs New V6
