Re: Misfire problem

Surprised to find the same thing (misfiring #2 cylinder) on our very early (8/2011) 2012 Overland 6, although it didn't show up until after nearly 30,000 miles. Thing is, the head has been on...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Aftermarket 12VDC-to-240AC inverters are readily available worldwide, with varying load capacities. Jeep likely nixes the 115VAC power outlet for export because most of the world outside North...

Re: WK2 - brochures, manuals and literature

Thanks, Bill. Those are the general customer service numbers, so possibly they've axed the direct Manuals Department number.

Re: New Mopar windshield no longer tinted

Our '12 Overland came from the factory with slight tinting along the top -- ditto a Mopar replacement windshield last year. It's not so much a band as a subtle but effective tint at the top fading...

Re: New Mopar windshield no longer tinted

Thanks, Bill. I haven't been able to unearth that thread, but what you say makes sense. If that's the case, perhaps Jeep sent our glass outfitter this windshield because with the holidays they'd run...

New Mopar windshield no longer tinted

We just had the second cracked windshield replacement on our Overland. Because of the rain sensor grid in the windshield, I specified and both times received a Mopar replacement instead of...

Re: Jeep warranty lagging competitors?

Scott, do you have any specifics on this?

For sure, the #1 shortcoming of the Jeep brand is the laggard dealer experience. For decades Chrysler dealers have brought up the rear, and the bankruptcy...

Re: WK2 - brochures, manuals and literature

The 877-847-7166 number for the complete owner's manual and similar publications has been discontinued.

Any idea where to turn to get a complete 674-page owner's manual (12WK741-126-AB)?

Re: Heated Seats - How Warm?

Just found out from a colleague in the fur business that a quick way to ruin a (genuine) fur coat is to wear it on a heated seat. Seems he's doing an increased business in dried-out and separating...

Any Fix for Saddle Scratches?

Is there a fix for scratches to saddle leather? Scratches take off the surface finish and change the color, so they really show up.

Re: Just got my free 2013 Map and software updates 2.126

Hard to be certain from the pic, but if the lower part's painted then it sure looks like it's not body color.

Re: NEW 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee spy pics(thanks 12sleeper!)

Styling aside, if the chrome rear bumper is metal and not shiny flexible plastic, you have to wonder about dings. Today a guy in a Nipponese sports car ran into the rear of our '12 Overland. My neck...

Re: Is there a fix yet for 730N losing presets?

I found out that wife had changed the Driver 1 seat setting yesterday, so there's always the chance this is what caused the sat presets to fly the coop.

On the chance that any Driver setting...

I'll try it again, but apparently the procedure isn't the cure. Thanks,...

Re: Free Sirius almost over, are you going to renew?

Re: Is there a fix yet for 730N losing presets?

Local dealer Bergey's got it and did the install. They sent Bergey's several copies of v2.126, kinda weird considering they only need one for onsite install.

BTW, so far no lost sat presets since...

Got a new one today at AAA. Same clunky white box, 1/2" to 3/4" thick. I asked about the new card written about a year back, and they didn't have a clue.
