Re: Jeep/Chrysler Executive Office?

[QUOTE=macfan;1102178] In any event Chrysler headquarters is in Auburn Hills, Michigan. QUOTE]

Is it still there? I thought Sergio packed everything up and moved to Italy since Fiat is the main...

Re: Cool ... Another recall

I believe that hearing the tone/noise is unavoidable. Maybe its the seat belt warning gongs?

Re: Why did you factory order your JGC?

Another, though probably insigificant to some, reason to factory order it, is they put your name on the window sticker. I don't think any other manufacturer does that.

Re: Remote Start A/C Question

So I guess if I had the HVAC system only set to manual outside ventilation through dash vents (no A/C selected), upon remote start, the A/C would be engaged, but as soon as I opened the drivers door,...

Remote Start A/C Question

Exactly how is the remote start system supposed to operate? I have the comfort start checked off in the Uconnect system. I don't believe the A/C is operating, even when it's above 80. I did notice...

Re: Cool ... Another recall

Is Ford still using that wacky warning tone when you first turn on the ignition? If so, can it be changed? If not, I wouldn't buy a Ford because of that stupid warning tone.

Re: No climate control when remote started??

When I had my 2012 Overland V8, the a/c and vented seat would come on with remote start. Since you have a 2012, then something must be wrong or else maybe one of the updates changed something. Who...

Re: No climate control when remote started??

Is that the answer? The other day, outside temp was 86. I parked the vehicle with the HVAC system turned off. When I used the keyfob to remote start as I was approaching the vehicle, I could have...

Re: Misaligned Driver Door...

Glad you got it resolved. I had a similar issue with the liftgate being out of adjustment. My dealer sent it to a body shop and it cost Chrysler over $300.00 to correct it. They push these things off...

Re: Safety Recall with 2 year backlog???? Really Chrysler!

The aluminum hoods on the WK2 do ding very easily. It doesn't take much.

Re: Rubbing noise between side of passenger seat and center console

On many WK2's, the front seat(s) can rub against the center console. It's just the usual poor Jeep quality control. Some have had luck with placing a shim under the 2 inside mounts to tilt the seat...

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee Summit - What's New

I could swear that the front windshield has been an acoustic type since the new WK2 came out for the 2011 model year. So all they added was the rear door acoustic windows on the 15 Summit.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I agree, my 14 Summit is as quiet inside as a Lexus LS I owned. The problem with the phone is the bluetooth system either on the phone end or the Uconnect system.

It's just the typical Chrysler way of cutting costs by using the old leftover trim pieces since 2011.

Re: Emergency Brake Pedal

The alcantara stuff wears off also. Just look around at some older Caddy CTS and you can see the worn areas where the hands are usually on the wheel.

Re: 2014 - brake lights

Chrysler did it the cheap way by (1st) not making the entire rear light LED and (2nd) by not illuminating the inner taillight upon brake application.

There is a clear coat on the 2014 Summit wheels. Or at least the ones on mine have it.

My previous 2012 Overland had no problem either. Your 14 is still pretty new. I think this started happening when my vehicle was about 9 months old.

Re: Summit wheels on a Overland? pics?

Other than the wheels, easy way to tell a Summit from an OL from its profile is the rocker trim along the bottom is a darker color than the body color panels that come on the OL.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat...

Another problem (well for most) is the thing, loaded up would be 100 grand. But even at that price, no other stock SUV could touch its power.

Re: Regular unleaded in the 2014 SRT

Re: Windshield washers

IF they were made properly, they should be good for at least 10 years. But Chrysler goes with the low bidder on parts, so what do you expect.

I used Mopar #82212567 locks on mine. I believe they are the same size as the 82210879's. They sure look the same when mounted on the vehicle.

Re: Honk, honk, honk - HELP!

Rain would be nice but we haven't seen rain out here (CA) since a few drops that maybe got the ground moist. And that was back in January. But hopefully the touch system in the door handle is faulty.
