Gotcha...supposedly one way to test the clutch is to see if the fan will rotate more than 4-5 revolutions with the engine cold, giving it a good spin.

My situation may have been made easier by the fact I don't live in a winter/salt/corrosion zone.. If that is the case in yours (salt, et. al.) get some Kroil lubricant.. The stuff is stupid good.

Needs to be in Neutral to rotate the axles. Ideally, if you have QuadratracII, stick a pin in the Hi/Lo area and stick her in "free" fall.

Let me add this..if you get a couple vicegrips( snug) on...

Laying on the ground you can get a 1/4" drive socket(10mm ?)/rachet in to get that 3rd bolt on the bottom of the headlight assembly if needed in the future. Turn tire all the way 'In" to view better.

Old thread..I know. which direction should the 32mm be turned to remove..?..this post reads "counter clockwise" as seen from the front ,I presume. If wrench at 1pm you'd have to hit upwards to go...

Back header bolts..?..headers or a stock exhaust manifold? If stock mani, there's a DIY on jeepforum.com on a WK 4.7L where he had to replace a snapped manifold bolt...nice write up with pictures.
