Learned from another member a few months back that pulling on the handle twice also puts it into manual mode when opening, good for when you are in a garage or other area with low clearance.

Yeah, your right. You cal also get a flap at the back to fold out to protect the bumper when loading stuff and/or dogs. That one i think you need to call for.

I did the "hold both buttons" routine when I had my tires swapped (this despite learning later that you should disable via the uconnect menu instead). No adverse effects.
